Downtown Campus Opening Fall 2019
The Valencia College Downtown Campus is a shared campus of Valencia College and UCF to serve the Downtown community.
Set to open in fall 2019, Valencia’s Downtown Campus will offer a multitude of programs for students interested in culinary and hospitality, health information technology and digital media. In addition to freshman and sophomore general education courses, Valencia will offer Accelerated Skills Training programs including workforce training and other certificates to increase access to education in the immediate downtown area.
The Walt Disney® School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality will house several floors devoted to culinary teaching kitchens and classrooms, as well as include state-of-the-art equipment and a pastry lab.
There will also be on-campus housing, so you’ll be able to live and learn in downtown Orlando while residing in a safe and secure area. Enjoy sports games, concerts, theater performances and community events at nearby venues, including Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Amway Center, the Orlando City Stadium and Lake Eola. And with easy access to LYNX bus routes-and free bus fares for Valencia students-you can explore other areas of Central Florida during your time at the college.
