Downtown Campus Opening Fall 2019

The Valencia College Downtown Campus, a shared campus with UCF, will serve our downtown community and improve countless lives through the power of education.

Set to open in fall 2019, the Valencia College Downtown Campus in partnership with the University of Central Florida, will offer a multitude of programs, certificates and training to increase access to education in the immediate downtown Orlando area. In addition to providing all general education courses for students at both colleges, Valencia College will offer programs in culinary and hospitality, health information technology and digital media. Accelerated Skills Training programs will also be available, including workforce training and other certificates.

The Walt Disney® School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality will house several floors devoted to culinary teaching kitchens and classrooms, as well as include state-of-the-art hospitality equipment such as a point-of-sale system and hotel front desk simulation area.

And with student housing, you’ll be able to live where you learn. The downtown campus includes many safety features to create a vibrant learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. You’ll be in the center of a community where you can get actively involved in campus activities and events, interact with a diverse group of students, and take advantage of other campus resources.

Enjoy sports games, concerts, theater performances and community events at nearby venues, including Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Amway Center, the Orlando City Stadium and Lake Eola. And with easy access to LYNX bus routes—and free bus fares for students—you can explore other parts of Central Florida during your time at the college.
